Non-intumescent fire retardant coating

Non-intumescent fire retardant coatings, also known as thick fire retardant coatings, are mainly composed of inorganic thermal insulation materials, which do not expand when exposed to fire and have good thermal insulation. Non-intumescent fire retardant coatings use the inherent good thermal insulation of the coating and the endothermic effect generated by ablation reactions such as evaporation and decomposition of some components at high temperature to block and consume the transfer of fire heat to the substrate, thus delaying the time for steel members to reach the critical temperature. Non-intumescent fire retardant coatings are generally non-flammable, non-toxic, aging-resistant and durable, and are suitable for permanent buildings.
